Greg's Long-EZ

In September 2005 I bought this Long-EZ project from a builder in New Jersey and trucked it across the US. After a year of hard work finishing the project the plane was finally completed in late 2006 and is currently in flight test.

The project has been a tremendous learning experience for me. I have a good intuitive grasp of mechanical things, coming from a background of being a truck mechanic and then a network engineer. But completing a home-built airplane brings the demands on your mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to a whole new level.
